Job Summary:

Hudson is seeking a skilled Digital Communication professional to join our team as a Digital Communication Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our website, creating digital content, and developing training products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Management: Administer the department's website, including managing user access, website architecture, website performance health, quality assurance, and accessibility.
  • Digital Content Creation: Develop training products and deliver training to new users of the website.
  • Content Management: Manage the existing website content to ensure it is accurate, current, relevant, reliable, and optimised for the current audience.
  • Copywriting: Copywrite new digital content as information gaps or new communication needs are identified.
  • Digital Content Planning: Create digital content plans to maximise opportunities and minimise risk.
  • Data Analysis: Use data analytics to assess the performance of the website and social media content, and to identify content gaps.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Visual Identity: Maintain a strong visual identity for Smartraveller products within the existing brand guidelines.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Create visual content for social media and other products using the Adobe Creative Suite.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience using GovCMS Drupal website platform, or a similar content management system is desirable.
  • Skills: Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro is desirable.

Security Clearance: The department requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 or Negative Vetting 2 level clearance security clearance.
