Job Title: Multiskilled Quarry Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multiskilled Quarry Operator to join our team in Victoria, Australia. As a Multiskilled Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for operating various mobile and fixed plant equipment, including Front End Loaders, Moxy/Dump Trucks, Excavators, and Quality Testing Equipment. You will also perform daily maintenance tasks, complete pre-start checks, participate in toolbox talks, and develop a thorough understanding of our WHS policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile plant equipment, including Front End Loaders, Moxy/Dump Trucks, and Excavators
  • Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment
  • Complete daily pre-start checks on plant
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks
  • Develop a thorough understanding of WHS policies and procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Variety of plant experience, including Front End Loader, Moxy/Dump Truck, and Excavator
  • Driver's license
  • Experience working in a quarry environment
  • Relevant RII tickets (not essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Use of initiative, proactive, and organized approach to work
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
