Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) Certified Locator to perform utility location services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand utility maps, DBYD plans, and aerial imagery to accurately identify underground assets.
  • Request and complete any permit requests in relation to utilities/assets on job sites as per client requirements.
  • Create and submit utility reports on completion of each job.
  • Ensure clients are provided with appropriate referrals to the services that meet their needs.
  • Assist in the training of employees in the use of the Asset locator and identifying of assets where required.
  • Responsible for the scheduled maintenance and repair of all locating devices.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be required to conduct fieldwork in challenging environments and have a strong understanding of Australian standards and legislation.
