Job Summary:

Cabonne Council is seeking enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our Building and Facilities team as Pool Attendants. This is a casual seasonal role that involves working at our village pools throughout the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality pool supervision and administer first aid as necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facilities.
  • Operate the pool kiosks and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for pool users.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Pool Lifeguard Licence or be willing to obtain one.
  • Working with Children Check and Safe Handling of Food Practices are also required.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR qualification are essential.
  • Desirable qualifications include Pool Technical Operations Certificate and Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety accreditation.

Skills and Experience:

  • General knowledge of the leisure/recreation industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer and systems skills and the ability to learn and apply new technologies.
