Senior Environmental Remediation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to join our landfill engineering team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess confidence and high-level project management skills, enabling them to drive technical growth within the team.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with industry leaders to provide support on technical projects across the region.
- Lead design investigations, developing engineering solutions to environmental issues at landfills.
- Prepare design documentation in conjunction with design experts and drafters.
- Develop and review technical reports.
- Mentor junior staff in the team.
Project Focus:
- Design of landfill cells and liners.
- Leachate and landfill gas capture and treatment systems.
- Landfill rehabilitation and development.
- Environmental assessment and monitoring.
- Landfill gas and soil vapour mitigation system design and assessment.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in environmental science or engineering.
- 6-12+ years' experience in consulting or a similar role.
- Proven capability in environmental management and remediation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player capable of working independently and collaborating with other professionals.
