Salary

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary of $29.24 per hour, plus $1.10 per km for travel between clients.

In addition, we offer a generous NFP Salary Packaging scheme, allowing you to increase your take-home pay.

Job Description

This permanent part-time position involves supporting our clients across North Lakes and the Moreton Bay region.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized care and support to clients in accordance with their individual needs and goals.
  • Undertaking domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks, including shopping, transportation, and other activities.
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to deliver holistic care and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A warm and caring nature, with a genuine interest in helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work a varied roster.
  • Current Police Screening Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance.
  • Current Queensland driver's licence, First Aid, and CPR certificates.
