Job Title: People Advisory Specialist

Role Overview:

As a People Advisory Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and guidance to employees and leaders across the organisation. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality people advisory services that support the effective management of the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain accurate records. A strong customer service orientation, collaborative working style, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic people advice and coaching to employees and leaders on employment matters.
  • Manage complex queries through the Service Delivery Tool, escalating or seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Support the Team Leader in monitoring service requests, balancing workloads, and contributing to improvements in People Advisory processes and services.
  • Develop and maintain operational systems and support for centralised People initiatives.
  • Interpret and advise on policies and procedures to guide staff and leaders in managing people matters.
  • Coordinate organisation-wide processes, ensuring compliance and fairness.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with staff and stakeholders, demonstrating integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to our values.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resource Management or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years' demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, providing consistent, accurate, and considered advice.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and clear understanding of risk.
  • Evidence of a strong customer service orientation, collaborative working style, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
