Job Description

We are seeking an experienced early childhood educator to lead and manage a team of educators, motivating and supporting them in the day-to-day running of the room, programming responsibilities, and creating a warm and inviting environment for all children and families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a curriculum/program for individuals and groups in accordance with approved curriculum frameworks, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with children, families, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to achieve high-quality care and education outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a curriculum/program for individuals and groups in accordance with approved curriculum frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Teaching.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Room Leader or leadership position.
  • Experience working with 2-3 years age group.
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Management (or willing to obtain).
  • Food handling training.
  • Child Protection Training.
