About the Role

The Cafe Attendant will be responsible for managing the food and beverage service to residents and guests at Bupa Sutherland Retirement Village. This role requires the use of coffee machines and food reheating equipment, as well as cash handling and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to residents and guests
  • Manage the display of food and beverages in the cafe
  • Meet and greet customers in the cafe
  • Take orders and prepare food for display
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the dining area and workspaces
  • Replenish stock and maintain inventory
  • Complete fridge and freezer documents to ensure safe food practices
Requirements
  • Barista experience required
  • Previous experience in customer service required
  • Food Handling Certificate desirable
  • Food Preparation skills required
  • Barista Certificate desirable
