We are currently looking to bring on several new FULL TIME Bus Drivers at our iconic Oakleigh Depot. We are searching for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community, whilst delivering exceptional customer experiences in the safe transportation of passengers.

Ventura's bus drivers provide an essential service by keeping the community moving. With no day the same as the last, our bus drivers deliver a range of bus services including public and school routes, rail replacement, charter and special events.

We offer a variety of shifts across a rotating roster, allowing you to balance your work with your busy life as well as maximizing your earning potential with weekend penalty rates and overtime

In return we offer on-going support and training to our drivers, top industry rates and stable employment in a secure industry. Our Drivers are highly valued and strongly supported by our experienced management team. We have excellent facilities to be enjoyed and best yet, a friendly inclusive workforce. Career progression is supported, with pathways into operations and leadership roles readily available for those seeking further career moves.

What are we looking for in our Drivers?

  • A current Victorian MR or HR Licence is highly regarded - If you only have a full car licence and want to become a bus driver, we still want to hear from you as you may qualify for our trainee program
  • Heavy vehicle driving experience is highly regarded, but not completely essential as we do provide extensive and supportive driver training
  • Customer focused individuals with the desire to provide assistance when required
  • Safe driving record
  • High regard for safety, road rules and regulations
  • Ability to obtain relevant medical and background clearances including Driver's Accreditation (DC) and Working With Children Card (WWCC)
