Occupational Therapist - Make a Difference in People's Lives

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential services to children and young adults across various settings, including clinics, schools, kindergartens, nursing homes, and homes.

You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Psychotherapists, Specialist Teachers, AHA and Independent Support workers, and a dedicated Customer Service Team.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to assess and treat individuals with physical, cognitive, or mental disabilities to help them achieve their goals and maximize their independence. You will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Your role will involve assessing clients' physical and emotional needs, developing strategies to address these needs, and implementing interventions to improve functional abilities. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with children and young adults, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
