Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Medical Education

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Medical Education. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching within the Doctor of Medicine program, contributing to the development of unit curricula and learning resources, and coordinating clinical placement programs. You will also promote the School and establish links with the academic, industry, and professional communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in a relevant discipline or other relevant qualifications in a health professional discipline
  • Current AHPRA registration (preferable)
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to undergraduate or postgraduate teaching programs in medical education
  • Experience in contributing to curriculum development and educational resource creation that reflects an understanding of the clinical medicine landscape and emerging practices in medical education
  • Ability to utilise varied modes of teaching, teaching resources, and technology to cater for all learners
