About the Role

As an Intelligence Assessment Director, you will lead teams of analysts to undertake all-source assessments on wide-ranging issues critical to Australia's national interests.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Defence, broader Government, and international partners to ensure DIO's assessments inform decisions on Australia's strategic circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to deliver timely, relevant and insightful intelligence assessments informing real-world strategic decision making.
  • Collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders to foster relationships and ensure DIO's assessments directly inform decisions.
  • Develop and mentor intelligence analysts to advance Australia's national security interests.
Requirements
  • Experienced leader with strong judgement and a commitment to advancing Australia's national security interests.
  • Expert leadership skills, broad knowledge and professional networks to demonstrate ability to anticipate and support customer needs.
  • Ability to operate effectively within high-pressure environments and exercise strong public service skills.
Salary and Benefits

$134,567 - $161,521 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation
