About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting our residents to maintain their dignity and comfort. You'll work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care, promoting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Supporting residents with daily living tasks such as meal assistance and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Monitoring residents' physical, emotional, and behavioral wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Encouraging social engagement and assisting with recreational and group activities.
  • Providing care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management.
  • Working closely with nursing staff to assess, document, and evaluate care outcomes.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the environment, addressing any issues promptly.
Key Qualifications and Skills
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, or currently undertaking a Nursing qualification.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • A Victorian Working with Children Check.
  • A National Criminal Police Record Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Annual Vaccinations as required.
  • Australian Work Rights.
