Electrical Fitter Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial/production/facility maintenance environments and be able to install, test, connect, commission, maintain, and modify electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Check electric powered farm equipment for potential hazards. Identify potential threats to electrical systems. Read technical diagrams and blueprints. Perform general electrical maintenance. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate test devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance. Check electrical system grounding. Ensure panels, circuits and outlets are not overloaded. Ensure all electrical tools have proper grounding protection.
