Electrical Fitting Opportunities

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill electrical fitting positions in our heavy maintenance facility.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and reassemble heavy machinery components, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Measure and inspect critical journals and bores for any defects or damage.
  • Conduct brazing and insulation of cables and winding joints, maintaining high safety standards.
  • Perform routine inspections of bearings and pinions to guarantee smooth operation.
  • Participate in acceptance testing of components, including vibration analysis.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement Lean practices, improving workplace efficiency.
Requirements
  • A relevant trade qualification in Electrical Fitting or a related field.
  • Experience working with AC & DC traction motors, alternators, or rotating electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with GE or EMD motors and associated systems is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and measurement skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
