The Role

  1. You will report to the Supervisor of the Surface Mechanical Maintenance Execution team.
  2. Collaborate closely with Surface Maintenance and Production teams to perform planned and unplanned mechanical maintenance across the Hydromet and Solvent Extraction area.
  3. Adhere to and consistently follow standards and procedures designed for safe and effective work.
  4. Assist with planned Mechanical maintenance and complete tasks safely and timely.
  5. Apply your Mechanical trade skills to perform planned and/or breakdown maintenance across all areas of the Hydromet and Solvent Extraction operations.
  6. Work with your team to maintain high Safety standards, accountability, and constructive team relationships.
  7. Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on job progress as required.

About You

  • Demonstrate commitment to personal wellbeing and confidence in speaking up when others put themselves at risk.
  • Hold Australian recognized Mechanical Trade (Fitter) qualifications.
  • High Risk License and associated qualifications are highly beneficial.
  • Display an excellent work ethic and accountability with a strong team focus.
  • Show ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually when required.
  • Effectively communicate across multiple levels and disciplines within the organization.
