Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Youth Support Worker. As part of our Residential Services, you will provide a safe and nurturing home environment for children and young people referred through the Child Protection system.
">Responsibilities
">Providing emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to build resilience and achieve their goals.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the household, including meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance.
Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each young person in your care.
Collaborating with colleagues and community members to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or a similar, relevant qualification plus the completion of required units) and a valid driver's license. A Working with Children Check, Criminal History Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check are also necessary.
