Youth Support Specialist

As a Residential Youth Support Worker with MacKillop Family Services, you will be an integral part of our Residential Services team. Our program provides a safe and nurturing home for children and young people referred through the Child Protection system.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing Emotional Support: Offer a listening ear to young people in need, fostering personal growth and well-being.
- Care Coordination: Manage day-to-day care, helping them build life skills and confidence.
- Household Management: Oversee behind-the-scenes tasks, ensuring a smooth household operation.
- Creating a Positive Environment: Maintain a welcoming and stable space for all residents.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar qualification.
- A valid driver's license for mobility purposes.
- Working with Children Check, Criminal History Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable youth and strong emotional self-regulation skills.
