About the Position
La Trobe University is seeking an academic with expertise in contemporary midwifery practice. The successful candidate will contribute to the research reputation of the midwifery discipline and engage with local hospital partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate education in midwifery
- Contribute to the research reputation of the midwifery discipline
- Develop partnerships with local hospitals
Requirements
- Hold a PhD or equivalent accreditation recognised by La Trobe University as appropriate for the relevant discipline area
- Be registered or eligible to register as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrate competence in teaching and curriculum development
- Present evidence of high-quality and/or high-impact research conducted and published or otherwise disseminated
