Distribution Network Coordinator

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in coordinating logistics distribution activities throughout the Australia-Pacific region. This role involves managing road and rail distribution for specialty mining chemicals, including creating bookings for rail movements.
This position requires scheduling orders for dispatch via rail or road, planning empty container collections, and managing miscellaneous movements. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale ERP systems for customer order and transport task processing.
The selected individual will participate in regular operational engagements with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to plan movements and proactively mitigate supply chain challenges. They will also be responsible for preparing accurate transport documentation and providing operational and administrative support to peers and the Specialist Warehouse and Distribution team.
Additionally, this role will involve supporting inventory control activity across multiple storage locations. A moderate understanding of safety in relation to heavy vehicle and chemical transport is essential for this position.
Requirements- At least 2 years of experience in the logistics industry.
- Experience and understanding of usual operation of port and rail services in Australia.

- Front-line customer service experience, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
