Internal Communications Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Specialist to fill this key role.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality internal communication services and products, including engaging internal staff campaigns, for senior executives, employee networks, line areas, and general staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communication services and products that meet departmental needs
  • Collaborate with creative services design and video teams to deliver high-quality content
  • Maintain an internal events and key dates calendar to ensure effective communication
  • Analyze and evaluate analytics about internal channels and content to inform future communications strategies

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a communications role within the APS is essential
  • Australian Citizenship is required
  • Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain one
