Job Overview:

The Infrastructure and Operations team is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based services. This role plays a key part in our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automation scripts to improve the efficiency of our infrastructure, focusing on re-usability and consistency across private and public clouds
  • Design and implement scalable solutions for our cloud and container portfolio, taking into account distributed system complexities
  • Maintain operational responsibility for our core services, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring they meet high standards of resilience and scalability
  • Collaborate with development teams to design service architecture, documentation, playbooks, policies, and operational procedures
  • Provide support to globally distributed engineering, operations, and support peers
  • Assume final responsibility for time-sensitive escalations
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members through mentorship and collaborative work sessions

Requirements:

  • Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and containerization
  • Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
