Job Title: Cloud Systems Lead

We seek an experienced and visionary IT professional to lead our cloud team, driving strategic business outcomes, ensuring system reliability and performance, and implementing strong security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of infrastructure and cloud platforms for optimal system design and scalability.
  • Implementation and maintenance of robust security standards, including cyber security principles, tools, and governance.
  • Cost reduction through resource optimisation and efficient use of on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • Tech advancements and infrastructure enhancement to stay ahead in the market.
  • Disaster recovery planning and implementation to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in architectural design and delivery of large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), service desk systems, and SLAs.
  • Extensive technical expertise in on-premise and cloud infrastructure, especially Azure, with relevant certifications.
  • Senior-level experience in managing infrastructure within government or enterprise contexts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with integration principles, design patterns, and enterprise-grade security architecture.
