Our Incident Response Service offers diverse experiences detecting, analyzing, and remediating complex security incidents.
Responsibilities- Exercise comprehensive incident handling and remediation processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Perform advanced malware analysis using cutting-edge tools and techniques.
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection, countermeasure execution, and threat intelligence gathering.
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer stakeholders.
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through strategic planning, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.
- Provide continuous feedback and solutions for operational collateral and capabilities.
Applicants must have experience in one or more areas:
- Incident Handling: investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
- Computer Forensic Analysis: utilizing forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations.
- Systems Administration: understanding system internals for countermeasures and remediation.
- Network Forensic Analysis: network protocols, network analysis tools, and associated network logs.
- Malware Analysis: static and dynamic malware analysis.
- Incident Remediation: creating customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.
- Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: secure network architecture and network operations.
- Programming/Scripting: coding experience in Python, PowerShell, or .NET, or desire to learn.
- Able to complete tasks independently without supervision.
- Desire to grow and expand technical and soft skills.
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Contributing thought leader within the incident response industry.
- Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
- Effective communication with customers during ongoing security incidents.
BA or BS in Computer Science or related field; industry-related DFIR certifications are beneficial.
