English Language Educator

St Clare's College seeks a skilled and dedicated educator to lead the development of language and literacy skills in students. This role involves designing and delivering engaging curriculum-aligned lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to create inclusive learning environments, and provide regular assessments and constructive feedback to support student progress. Collaboration with colleagues and open communication with families are essential in fostering student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching practices.
  • Provide regular feedback to students on their performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
