  • Main Responsibilities
  • Drilling and bolting of incline, decline, drift, and mass excavation; primarily face drilling
  • Ground support, consisting of bolt and mesh
  • Identify and remedy misfires
  • Conduct prestart checks of equipment and drill site
  • Monitor and operate the drill rig control panel
  • Read and follow worksheets and drill patterns
  • Ensure that work is carried out through adherence to specifications, schedules, and standards
  • Requirements
  • Be safety-focused and have a positive can-do attitude
  • Must have extensive experience in a high-speed single heading development environment
  • Be highly driven to achieve project targets, safely and efficiently
  • Experience operating Sandvik Jumbos (D422i)
