About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex technological environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for compiling technical specifications, explaining the pros and cons of various options, and developing alternative solutions for backup planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to address complex solution requirements.
  • Delegate tasks to engineers and coordinate their activities.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and maintain project documentation.
  • Suggest improvements to standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor and coach engineers.
  • Participate in complex solutions, authoring and contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation process.
  • Work independently, taking ownership of relevant technologies.
  • Monitor the quality of work produced by Engineers and Technicians.
  • Liaise with vendors for priority escalations or bugs found during deployments.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of technical solution design and business principles.
  • Strong project fundamentals demonstrated through successful installations and assignments.
  • Proven ability to take ownership as the technical lead throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Extensive specialist knowledge and expertise in relevant domains.
  • Significant experience in technical implementation engineering, particularly in Networking technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following Networking technologies: EVPN VXLAN, Cisco SDA, MPLS/Segment Routing, Overlay/Underlay WAN technologies.
  • Strong skills in Enterprise systems and solutions with multiple vendors technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the System Engineering Management Plan framework and processes.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Client-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and guide team members.
  • Extensive experience in client engagement and conducting presentations.
  • Strong report writing skills.
