Information Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team at Westpac Group. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining enterprise security architecture, standards, guidelines, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that technology and infrastructure designs are secure and meet business, security, and risk requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential security threats.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide guidance on best practices for security.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, IT, risk management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
