Information Security Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Information Security Specialist to safeguard our organization's digital assets. In this role, you will be tasked with the crucial responsibility of establishing and upholding the security framework within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and sustain the security infrastructure of the organization,
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to uncover potential security flaws,
- Monitor security incidents and respond effectively to breaches,
- Formulate and enforce security policies and protocols,
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the cyber security landscape,
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to security regulations,
- Educate and assist staff on best practices in cyber security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline,
- Demonstrated experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a comparable position,
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems,
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys,
- Understanding of network security and web application security,
- Capability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions,
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities,
- Relevant certifications like CISSP or CISM are advantageous but not mandatory.
