About the Role:

As a skilled Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of a wide range of light vehicles, including passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will work on various projects, from routine maintenance and repairs to complex diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on brake, steering, and suspension components
  • Electrical installations and repairs, including battery replacements and wiring work
  • Execute wheel alignments with precision
  • Liaise with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of all service work and repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Automotive
  • Experience as an automotive technician (1-2 years post-certification preferred)
  • Proficient in wheel alignments and suspension systems
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Ability to work well in a team and a willingness to learn
  • Full Australian Drivers' Licence (manual & automatic)
