Job Summary

Pulse locating is a utility detection service based in Western Australia. Our company provides clients across Perth and regional WA with expert services for underground utility detection, vacuum excavation, and gas supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utility Detection: Locate underground services using ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic field (EMF) tools
  • Plan Interpretation: Interprets site plans and DBYD to identify potential hazards
  • Vacuum Excavation: Operate vacuum trucks and trailers for safe digging practices
  • Digital Reporting: Complete accurate digital field reports to document work completed
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and compliance protocols to ensure a secure work environment
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of experience in utility detection
  • Experience operating vacuum trucks / trailers
  • Licenses and Certifications: White Card & C Class Licence (MR-B preferred, HR-B a bonus)
  • Communication Skills: Strong safety focus and effective communication skills
Bonus Qualifications
  • Additional Licences: HR Licence / First Aid + CPR
  • Gas Supervision: ATCO High Pressure Gas Supervision
  • Certification: Certloc certification a bonus
  • Teamwork: Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Equipment Care: Takes pride in work and equipment

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety focus and be able to interpret site plans. Police check & medical required for applicants.
