Job Role Summary:

Our Maintenance Officer plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of life for our residents by providing exceptional maintenance and gardening services to our facilities and surrounding grounds.

Responsibilities include maintaining garden beds, lawn mowing, reticulation maintenance, overseeing maintenance contractors, pruning, window cleaning, and other tasks essential to creating a comfortable living space for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procuring maintenance services and overseeing contractor work
  • Maintaining and cleaning windows, entrances/exits, and car parks
  • Fertilizing and aerating lawns
  • Trimming and pruning trees
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Updating records and managing stock for chemicals and equipment
  • Identifying potential hazards/risks and taking preventative actions
  • Contributing to a customer service experience for residents

Requirements:

We seek an individual with significant maintenance/gardening experience, comfortable performing duties such as those listed above. A comprehensive understanding of facility services/equipment related to gas, water, and power is also desirable.
