Early Childhood Educator

CatholicCare Tasmania is the leading provider of social services in Tasmania, with over 60 years' experience delivering a wide range of support to individuals, families and communities. Our services are designed to improve wellbeing and cater to diverse needs.

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated educators to join our Outside School Hours Care Program in Southern Tasmania. As an educator, you will be part of a team that aims to provide high-quality learning and care experiences for children.

The programs we offer are carefully planned to ensure they are engaging and stimulating. We prioritize cultural and social inclusivity, as well as family involvement in all aspects of our activities.

About the Role
  • Create a positive environment to support and engage school-aged children in OHSC and vacation care.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of an engaging program using your skills and expertise.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • A passion for the Early Childhood Industry
  • Working with Vulnerable People Registration
  • National Police Check
  • Focus on Health & Safety requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and interpret Policies and Procedures
