Job Opportunity: Corrosion Protection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corrosion Technician to join our team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field audits, pipeline surveys, routine testing, and maintenance tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in cathodic protection or related fields who are eager to learn and grow with the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Commission high-quality cathodic protection systems that meet industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues, implementing necessary repairs and improvements to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and submit detailed reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or equivalent working rights in Australia.
  • Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques, including software and computer systems.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
