The role of Corrosion Protection Specialist involves conducting field inspections, pipeline surveys, routine testing, installation, and maintenance to prevent corrosion of buried or immersed metallic structures.
Responsibilities include commissioning cathodic protection systems, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, implementing necessary repairs and improvements, and keeping accurate records of work performed.
This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement within the company.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in cathodic protection or a related field and be willing to learn and grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct field inspections and pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS)
- Commission cathodic protection systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Implement necessary repairs and improvements
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
Australian citizenship, previous experience in cathodic protection or a related field, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques, and computer and software skills are required for this position.
