We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping others maintain their quality of life and independence.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide care and supervision for individuals with disabilities. You must be experienced, responsible, and have strong listening and communication skills. The ability to connect with people who have behavioural challenges is essential.

You will need to possess relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support or a relevant qualification. A current First Aid/CPR Certificate, driver's licence, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working With Children Check are also required.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide individualised support to clients using a supportive and positive approach
  • Motivate and promote client independence
  • Assist clients with their emotional, psychological, cultural needs
  • Support and encourage clients during community outings
  • Provide transport when required
  • Ensure clients are happy and well-supported
