As a skilled Insite Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting and reporting geological and drilling data from various locations in Western Australia.

The role requires providing expert advice on equipment capabilities, gathering accurate logging information, interpreting logging data to determine oil and gas shows, and documenting findings according to established guidelines and procedures.

You will also be responsible for assembling mud logging information into mud logs and drilling databases, identifying formations drilled, and providing lithological descriptions.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong technical skills, excellent communication and arithmetic skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to required standards.

This is a field position that requires regular travel to various locations, so you should be comfortable with frequent movement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Advice: Provide expert advice on equipment capabilities to clients and stakeholders.
  • Data Collection: Gather accurate and factual logging information from various locations.
  • Data Interpretation: Interpret logging data to determine occurrence and composition of oil and gas shows.
  • Documentation: Document findings according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Mud Logging: Assemble mud logging information into mud logs and drilling databases.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of geology and drilling operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and arithmetic skills.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to required standards.
  • Field Experience: A minimum of 2 years relevant field experience is required.
