Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Fellow to join our team at the Innovative Planet Research Institute.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading high-impact research projects, developing and implementing novel algorithms, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver meaningful outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic, multi-university team focused on fusing classical and quantum sensor technologies to solve real-world challenges.

About the Role:

This position offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), quantum sensors, and estimation theory. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead high-impact research projects, develop and implement novel algorithms, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in PNT/Sensor technologies to drive innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary and multi-institution research team.
  • Contribute to research projects, including identifying and tracking milestones, reporting on progress, and identifying barriers to completion.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality written and oral communication skills for scholarly publications, technical reports, and project documentation.
  • Apply expertise in writing high-quality publications in international journals and Grant applications.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Mathematics, Signal Processing, Sensor Fusion, PNT, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a combination of a PhD with extensive experience in one of these fields.
