We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients by promoting their independence and choice.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes and communities
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks such as showering, toileting, grooming, and household chores
  • Managing challenging behaviors and providing emotional support to clients
  • Following client-established daily routines and ensuring continuity of care
  • Providing social and community access, and engaging clients in activities that promote their well-being
  • Collecting data and working with clients to set and achieve their goals
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress and reporting on their well-being
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualification
  • Trained to administer medication (desirable)
  • Experience in delivering personal care services and/or managing challenging behaviors
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own registered vehicle and current driver's license
  • NDIS worker's check, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check (optional)

Education:

  • Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Experience:

  • Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (preferred)
  • National Police Certificate (preferred)
  • Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred)
