Key Worker – Launceston

About The RoleWe're seeking a Key Worker to deliver interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families in Launceston and surrounding areas. This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) position that requires availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments.
Your Everyday- Work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds and community centres
- Conduct initial appointments with families, using assessment and communication skills to get to know them, their child and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, Speech Pathologists and family members to support children's development
- Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports
- Document and bill for each session through our online participant management system
- Provide support for children after school to establish consistent routines
- Attend team meetings and share stories of impact
- Meet with Team Leaders and Therapy Mentors for guidance and support
- Participate in online mentoring sessions to build knowledge and skills
- Continuous Learning: Guidance and support from industry-leading clinicians and allied health practitioners

We're looking for individuals who resonate with our values and can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic environment. To work as a Key Worker, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and registration.
- Occupational Therapist: Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Physiotherapist: Degree in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration
- Speech Pathologist: Degree in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
- Educator: Degree in Education and full teaching registration with the relevant state education authority
You will also need:
- Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families
- Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Strong communication skills and be a team player
- Commitment to personal and professional growth
- A valid Australian drivers license
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Childrens Check
- Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments
