Watters Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Estimating Team and Project Manager with design and construction electrical engineering for estimating purposes and project variations.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing designs for a range of building electrical services
- Assisting in drafting drawings to meet project requirements
- Reviewing drawings for coordination with other building services
- Making design changes to drawings in consultation with the design team
- Electrical Engineering degree
- Current driver's license
- Prior experience with CAD/Revit (advantageous but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation
- Understanding and working knowledge of working within an engineering consultancy environment on building services projects
- Experience leading and running electrical engineering components of major projects
- Proficiency with industry software (MS Office, Bluebeam, etc)
- Experience working in electrical services design including lighting, general and specialty power, automation, power distribution, and reticulation
- Current Police Check and Working with Children's Check
