We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Orange, NSW, as a Rehabilitation Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector, providing expert services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients, working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Conduct Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments to inform return-to-work strategies.
- Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery, to support clients in their recovery journey.
- Work closely with Rehabilitation Assistants to ensure seamless case management and administrative tasks.
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, with registration with ESSA and SIRA Accreditation.
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and stakeholders.
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are required.
