Support Care and Dignity as a Health Service Assistant
- Assist clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care by providing personal hygiene, lifting, repositioning, transfers and transportation of patients.
- Prepare deceased patients for transfer to the mortuary and provide support for family viewings as required.
- Erect, transfer and remove bed and bedside equipment, medical gas cylinders and other supplies safely.
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Demonstrates experience working within a patient-centred care environment.
- Shows genuine care for patients' wellbeing and comfort, with the ability to interact respectfully with a diverse range of people.
- Understands the importance of infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to work a roster spanning 24/7 services.
- Hold a Security 1A Licence.
