This role is critical to our business success. The Geospatial Analyst will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional geospatial services across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and reliability through regular auditing, quality control, and cleansing of spatial datasets.
  • Geospatial Support: Provide map production and visualisation services, as well as assist in data management and spatial analysis for multiple departments.
  • Output Quality: Deliver high-quality outputs suitable for inclusion in government reporting and external submissions.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Transfer skills and operational knowledge to clients and conduct knowledge shares with geospatial staff.
  • Request Management System: Work within the system to log and deliver work within agreed SLAs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Standards and Governance: Adhere to established geospatial procedures and processes, maintain and promote the use of standards, governance, procedures, templates, folder/filing structures and the request management system.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Geospatial Expertise: At least 3+ years of experience in the field, either through industry experience or tertiary studies.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro & ArcMap.
  • Service Delivery: Proven experience in delivering geospatial services to business clients from various disciplines, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Data Management Skills: High level of skills in data management, including auditing, quality control, cleansing spatial datasets for accuracy and reliability, ETL and editing skills within ArcSDE and SQL databases.
  • Enterprise Stack: Knowledge of best practices for data management and governance with Portal, building Portal web applications (Maps, Scenes, Dashboards), familiarity with ArcGIS Server and Data Store.
