Clinical Nurse Role in Mental Health

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services in North West Queensland.

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in providing advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of mental health patients/residents/clients with complex care needs.

Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will work in a community-based setting, providing mental health assessment and treatment for individuals and their support networks.
  • They will also be responsible for coordinating care and developing treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences are mandatory requirements.
  • A C Class Motor Vehicle Licence is also required.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range between $107,960 and $115,604 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 (Band 1)).
