Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Technology Lead for Cloud, Reliability & Platform Engineering, you will be instrumental in a leading digital organization, facilitating the delivery of essential applications to our customers. Collaborating with engineers from diverse disciplines, you will ensure the reliability and stability of our applications by engaging in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Define and guide a squad's strategic roadmap
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine priorities and allocate resources
  • Partner closely with Architects and Engineers to design, build, deploy, manage, and operate environments
  • Mentor and support engineers to enhance capabilities and disseminate domain knowledge
  • Integrate best practices from across the Engineering discipline into the delivery cycle
  • Assess all platform and service consumption for optimization
  • Share your insights within your chapter and across the Engineering discipline

Qualifications and Skills

This position is ideal for a technologist with a robust background in software platform engineering, capable of leveraging their experience and knowledge to influence decisions and develop highly scalable cloud services.

  • Extensive experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Native Application Development, Relational & Document Databases, and Observability platforms
  • Specific expertise with Cloud (Azure), Code (Powershell, Bash, C#, .NET Core, NodeJS, GoLang), Databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB), CI (Azure DevOps, GitHub), Infrastructure (Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A passion for teamwork and mentoring junior team members
  • A genuine commitment to learning and growing, both as an engineer and a colleague.
