Cloud Architect Chapter Lead

A Key Role in Cloud Modernisation

  • As a Cloud Architect Chapter Lead, you will play a crucial role in our cloud modernisation journey.
  • You will lead a team of experienced engineers in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions.
  • Your expertise in .Net and cloud technologies will be instrumental in delivering seamless solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing cross-functional engineering team in cloud modernisation.
  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions using modern technologies.
  • Provide technical direction on solution design, code quality, and system performance.
  • Drive the development of robust, high-performance, scalable applications.
  • Manage resources, set priorities, and drive the team toward achieving project milestones.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing cross-functional engineering teams with a solid technical background in .Net.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including cloud architecture, migration, and security.
  • Experience designing solutions and leading technical conversations with engineers.
  • Excellent debugging skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues in .Net.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automating manual tasks.

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all, but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:

  • C# and .NET/.NetCore.
  • Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Loading and monitoring: CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
