Youth Adventure Facilitator Role

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mentoring young people and facilitating exciting outdoor adventures.

  • Facilitate weekly 5-hour sessions during school terms to help students develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and self-awareness.
  • Lead groups through a variety of activities such as hiking, beach trips, paddleboarding, rock climbing, kayaking, tree-top courses, and more.
  • Guide group debriefs and mentorship conversations to promote personal growth and development.
About the Role

This role involves working with groups of young people aged 9-12 or 13-18 in outdoor, adventure-based environments. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that cater to different age groups and abilities.

Requirements
  • A current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A current Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain one)
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to become certified)
  • Experience working with groups of young people (essential)
  • A health-oriented lifestyle — you enjoy being active and outdoors
  • Access to reliable transport (a car is strongly preferred)
  • Availability to commit to the same weekly group for the full term
