Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel, supporting their rehabilitation journey and facilitating a successful return to wellness.

Job Description

The Rehabilitation Consultant will collaborate with ADF personnel, medical specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, be able to work collaboratively, and demonstrate a passion for helping others rehabilitate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals and ensure seamless transition back to service.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including ADF personnel, medical specialists, and treatment providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
  • Case Management experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience with professional documentation and/or report writing.
  • Minimum twelve months of experience working in a relevant profession with full registration.
